
An omelette or omelet is a dish made from beaten eggs fried with butter or oil in a frying pan (without stirring as in scrambled egg). It is quite common for the omelette to be folded around fillings such as Onion, chilies, cheese, chives, vegetables, mushrooms, meat ( Often ham and bacon) or some combination of the above. Whole eggs or egg whites are beaten, sometimes with a small amount of milk, cream, or water. This is a very simple omelette with water, eggs, and a mixture of onions and chiles.
Chilli & Onion Omelet
Ingredients:
Small Onion – 1 ( Finely Chopped)
Green Chillies – 2 ( Finely chopped)
Egg – 3
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – to taste
Method:
1. In a bowl add little water and then add the salt and turmeric powder.
2. Then add all the other ingredients mix well.
3. Heat a round pan add some oil and then add 1/2 of the mixer and spread it.
4. Close it with a lid leave it on med flame for about 2 mins.
5. Open the lid and turn to the other side leave it for a minute. Enjoy!
